I noticed my 2 year old has 2 red bumps on the lower left leg. The leg is swollen in the area and the immediate area outside the two bug bites is very very hard. He doesnt even notice the pain....but he has an incredible high pain tolerance. I touched it and he doesnt even flinch. Any ideas?

Chances are th at if he didn't flinch then it doesn't hurt. Give Benadryl per instructions on the box. This will accomplish two things, First: reduces the swelling, second: it will stop any iching that may occur. If symptoms persist for three or more days without imptrovement or get worst, get checked out. Hope that helps.

My kids use to get like that when they got bite by mosquito's and ants. I think the skin gets hard to protect itself from them tearing it up from scratching. I use to just put neosporin ointment on it and if needed give childrens tylenol for any discomfort. The hardness will go away it is just his bodies mechanism dealing with the bite. If he doesn't react to touching it maybe it isn't tender to the touch. I wouldn't make to big of a deal of it to him as he might start digging at it then you will have a bigger problem on your hands. Good luck.

unsure if those are mattress bugs or mite bites yet you could shelter your self whilst napping via utilising a mattress protector. they are incredibly much less costly and that they do artwork. if your concern is quite undesirable, they are tremendously much impossible to eliminate (the two mites and bugs). The mattress bugs are plenty better and much less annoying to make sure. they actually feed off your blood! you will want a extra costly fumigation approach or a extra costly finished mattress encasement to eliminate them. The mites on the different hand will feed off of your ineffective epidermis cells! they could make you itch and that they could reason hypersensitive reactions as you breath interior the ineffective mites. The mattress risk-free practices for the mites are much less funds. On a financial stand factor, attempt to sleep in a different region different than your mattress in the previous you purchase something! If the bumps quit, you may have a mattress computer virus/mite mattress concern and you certainly desire mattress risk-free practices. in the event that they stay, you're allergic on your detergent or it may desire to be the warmth rash! have a glance on the Wiki hyperlinks I even have placed to view the two the mattress computer virus and the mite. additionally very stable info on what you could anticipate from a mattress encasement on the third link.
