You might like the knot because you can search by color... I got the idea for my cake there and then google more images.

Just do a general image search on any search engine--google, yahoo, it doesn't matter.
Not to mention if you see a cake you like that has another flower (perhaps white roses) you can just get the idea of it. Or copy it into photoshop and make them red if you don't have the imagination.
Red roses is common enough too that when you go in to talk to bakeries--usually they have the book of what they've done in the past that you can flip through. I'm nearly sure they will all have one with red roses on it.
Go to a bridal show and talk to the cake vendors there. I looked through those books even though I knew the vendors at the show were way above my price.
Look at Martha Stewart. I'm shocked no one said that yet. I flipped through her wedding magazine in the stores for ideas. Also you can just google celebrity cake bakers. What is that woman--Sylvia something. They have pictures of all the cakes they've done on the pg.
Whats more important is the taste, and fillings, and how many tiers you want, and the overall shape--are you more traditional or have a whimsical "Mad Hatter" design in mind?

The Knot has and excellent section to browse wedding cake designs. Also Martha Stewart Weddings is a great source to look to. Also check eBay, i got a CD once from a vendor that has 1,000 cake designs all categorized for seasons, themed, floral etc. Good Luck!

You're probably better off asking at a local bakery. Another option is to use REAL red roses on the cake. Stunning!

go to cake central.com ...they have thousands. you do have to sign up to view them. but it is free. enjoy.
