I know its an educational movie, but could this affect her in the ways of watching too much t.v? I put it in for the music but she sat down and started watching it. Should i be worried or not?

I think it's a fine way for you to get a 20-30 minute break. As long as you don't play one after the other, or put it on repeat. The whole baby einstein line really is very educational, my daughter has watched 20-30 minutes of them a day until she was about 18 months, then she started asking for little einsteins. She's 21/2 now, and she still knows that there is a limit on the amount of tv she can watch each day, and her and I both enjoy the time to ourselves. I hate to say, but she has learned a lot from them too, I mean, she knew all of her colors by the time she was 9 months, and it was just from watching baby einstien, and then having me repeat the colors to her out of a book once it was over. So I think it's fine, as long as it's in moderation, just like anything else.

sure it's ok...why not? Lots of research went into them and instilling an appreciation of music is not a bad thing....now if she sits and watches is ALL DAY, that wouldn't be so good. If she likes the music, try playing CDs of Mozart and other things too.

Personally, I think they are terrible....horrible quality for the money. Maybe if they were $5 or found at a yard sale, I would have bought one, but they are certainly not worth the money to me.

there is honestly no longer something incorrect with letting her watch somewhat television each and every now and lower back. MY oldest daughter started watching Dora whilst she replaced into 6 months and he or she is exceedingly much 4 now and is familiar with a thank you to assert a lot of issues in Spanish owing to the help of Dora 3 -4 cases a week. inspite of what maximum dad and mom say...it would not rot their ideas and with watching the a number of infant academic coach they have out now, some chidren grow to be greater progressed from it... All in all it fairly is completely nice for her to video exhibit television

Don't be worried about it, My little girl started watching baby einstein around 10 months and it makes her smile, but she doesn't need t.v., just her mommy.

We didn't.

You will be amazed how much they start adapting. She didn't watch TV the first year of her life!

We bought the actual CD's and would play them all day long.

My daughter is now 5, and is now learning guitar!

(Both mommy/daddy are musicians, but still, innundate that kid with real MUSIC! Not the TV version).

I wouldn't worry about it. Just limit the amount of TV time. Babies and children need different kinds of stimulation. Physical activities, such as blocks and color fabric swatches and toys are a better for them.

my daughter watches 6 hrs of educational tv a day and she is very bright ,intelligent and kind (she doesnt just watch tv and she doesnt watch 6 hrs straight)

i see no reason why a 1 hr movie would do any harm to a kid or be made like it's to much tv
