OooohhHhHhhh girl... why his name?? i know ur going to say you love him..and u two are going to be together forever.. but i suggest if u want to tattoo something tattoo something else.... i mean... look at angelina and her ex hubby?? how much it must of cost her to laser remove her exhubby's name on her arm... y dont u get him to tattoo ur name on him first and then if u decide to still go ahead wid it.. at least he has ur name.. and u have his name.....
but to me.. the best part to put a tattoo is either on the back of the shoulder blade... either side is fine.. or the popular one.. on the bottom of ur back...

First of all getting a tattoo is a big comitment so be prepared for the care it will need. But to answer your question, what part of your body do you like most? I would suggeset you find the part of your body you or your boyfriend like the best, after all it is your body and you will have to wear the ink.

DO NOT GET HIS NAME!!!!! you dont know where youll be in 5 years let alone the rest of your lives, if you are gonna get a tattoo get something that means something to you, something that will never fade,go away,get old... something that you can look at everyday and know exactly what happened/why you needed to express yourself on yourself for the world to see... as for placement, nothing is sexier on a girl then a tattoo on the inner thigh or to either side of her hips, lower back=bullseye dont do that... lol

Never ever get someone's name tattooed on you unless it's a memorial kinda thing

Don't tattoo your boyfriends name on your body. I know you think it will last forever, but everyone thinks that at some point. Get another tattoo. Something you will want forever. Chances are you wont be with your boyfriend you have now forever, then you will hate your tattoo and so will your new boyfriend/husband. Get something you want that reflects you. I would get it somewhere on my back.

May I suggest that you put something that represents him instead? I have seen many people regret putting a name on their body that they are no longer with and usually the new person can't stand it and causes problems. But any where would look nice. I want a scorpion holding a heart to represent my husband. I won't even put his name on me. Things happen in life that we do not always for see.

Do not tattoo a name on your body. That would be really hard to get rid of once you guys break up.

I have several tattoos but I could never understand why someone would have another persons name inked on them.
But it's your decision. I agree with the first guy down the side of the thigh.

If you just have to have it....
put it on your thigh or hip.
That leaves plenty of room
for the cover-up later.
I'm not going to give you
a lecture about how names
are not a smart thing to do.
Go to a good artist and
talk a bit about this.

Its not a good idea to get a name tattoo (unless for "memorials") in the first place. Instead, get something that is "representive" of your loved one (in other words: "interests").
