Im buying some pants for 29 bucks. How much tax would that be?

Michigan sales tax is 6%, and it is charged for clothing. I looked it up on the Michigan Dept of Revenue website, which I have attached a link to. The sales tax on pants for $29 would be $1.74

It depends on what State you live in. You can go to the website I've listed below to check your State. I live in Michigan and have a 6% sales tax. I would be charged $1.74.

I'm not sure what your state tax level is, but in Mass. it is 5%. So take 29$ x .05 and this will be your tax ($1.45)

Pennsylvania doesn't charge sales tax on clothing and shoes. What state are you talking about?
