Honey can lasts man, many years. In fact, in ancient temples, Pharaoh tombs and building remains from centuries ago vases with honey were found and some of them were still edible. Talk about food preservatives!

Honey has natural antiseptic properties, but it can spoil (else, how would you get Mead?)
Yeast is already a mould, but I guess it's only an additive, not a food in it's own right
salt is only an additive
