what is a good way to show that I understand my boyfriend works a lot especially now during hurricane season?

We're in New Orleans, and it gets crazy here around this time during hurricane season. He is a computer consultant and is getting real busy with work. We have been inseperable for the 2 months that we've been together. I understand he has to work a lot and want him to know that. I miss all the attention that I got for so long (everyday!!) but I keep trying to tell myself, it's nothing. He's jsut busy ... because I know he is. Is there soemthing that I can do or say to reitterate that?

Maybe you could plan a nice romantic evening together when he does get a day off for you to spend some time together. Make it all about him because he has been working so hard and tell him that. Tell him you wanted him to have a nice, relaxing day off since he's been so busy. He will greatly appreciate it and it will show him that you understand and support him.

The best thing you can do is when you're actually together thank him for all the hard work he's doing. Even though it causes you to not see him as much, tell him that you see that what he does is helping other people tremendously. And most important, tell him how much that makes you respect him. He will never forget that. It's nice to see you aren't just complaining - it sounds like you're a good girl for your man!

actually i have the same problem....my advice is to be very carefull with the subject bcause he is going to believe u dont understand him blah blah blah.....just assure him u know what he s being through and that u really have some patience.oh!and of course tell him that u will STAND BY HIM.good luck

Tell him that you care about him alot and tell him how much you miss him. It makes him feel special and unneglected.... If you say it right it will be a moment you cherish forever!
