I can answer only about Israel. There is a barrier being built, of which about 10 percent is a wall and the rest is a fence.

The Arab terrorists in Gaza, Judea and Samaria are trying as hard as they can to kill as many Israelis as possible. The barrier is quite successful in keeping these terrorists out and thereby saving Israeli lives every day.

And it is not along the border, but rather along certain lines that are selected from security considerations, which is what the barrier is all about.

Israel and Spain may be, but the USA isn't. Congress told us we were getting a 700-mile fence to close our 1,600-mile border with Mexico, but since the new congress took over only 2 miles have been built. It was just another lie.

WHERE'S THE FENCE?

To keep people crossing them. Of course it won't work. It's a defensive wall. And defensive walls don't work unless properly manned. But then with a properly manned border you don't need a wall.

A wall on a border is like a condom. It gives you a false sense of security while you are getting screwed.
