the only way to train him to undies is to put them on him and encourage him to tell you before he is about to go that he has to go. it took my son three-four months once he was dry all day at home to start telling me he had to go. i never did the naked thing. i used pull ups til he had the idea then went to underwear

My oldest boy was 2 and it took about 2 days. My youngest was 2 1/2 when he would pee and could go without diapers but he would NOT poop in the toilet. He had to have a diaper on, he would bring me a diaper, once on, he would go to the same spot in the house. He was just a couple of months older than 3 when I finally told him we were out of diapers "then go to the store mommy", "sorry buddy, they are out of diapers there too, your going to have to go on the toilet" he cried for a bit but finally went. We did have some trouble with him that summer, messing his underware outside and taking it off and telling me he "lost" his underware. But once it was cold and outside was no longer an option, he's never had a problem. He's now 7.
Be warned, my sister thought all kids should be trained by the age of 2 (considered me a lazy mom cause of my 3 yr old from above) and battled with her son for 3 years. When he was 5 and still having poop accidents the doctor put him on medication to reverse the damage he'd done straining himself all those years trying to please his mother. They will do it when they are ready. Be creative and be supportive.

It depends on the child, my daughter was 2 months before her second birthday when she decided she was ready to use the potty (it was always there for her to see from a baby and her teddies would "wee" on potty all time). one day she refused have her nappy on and straight away it was established, i can honestly say she has never wet herself and she is three and a half now, but it did take over a year to loose the nappies completely throught the day as she was choosey, if we went out she wanted a nappy on and for car journeys or to the shops id always put a nappy on her. Just after her third birthday she decided she wanted pants for bed so for 6 months now she has been completely away from nappies and that when we decided time was right to loose them on journeys also. In not saying every night time has been dry but she has never wet herself thru the day. As for pooh i would suggest his "teddies do a bit of role play and get praised for their hard efforts" worked wonders for my little girl

Hate to say it , but it depends on the child. For myself I waited until summer let my son run around in the back yard naked for the day and set the potty chair out there...If I saw him about to pee I would run him to the chair. Inside tip use cherrios as targets in the toilet....Good Luck,,, Just be patient.....

my daughter was the same. i know it is a big tension but they are different in the way and the time.
she was also hiding then back to let me know that she did it lol.
then i watched her carefully for a week ,dressed her long pants.when i feel she need to do it ,i put her on the potty then i give her a reward or stickers and i show her that I'm happy and proud of her..and i also told her how it is disgusting if it was on her cloths of on the floor .
2 times i did not see her when hiding but she came crying because she scared when it fell in her pant lol
good luck

My nephew was having the hardest time learning that he had to go poop in the toilet so someone told my older sister to use boxers for his underwear instead of all the other choices. because he wore boxers and took a poop in his pants it ran down his leg and he cried because it happened and he did this i think one or two more times then he started going in the toilet. Hope this helps. and Good Luck!
