What practical joke did you play that back fired?

Well this joke didn't backfire... besides her being upset, but it was funny!
I was staying the night at my cousins house... we were always really close. There was four of us... my three cousins and I.
One night the oldest cousin (my age) and I decided to play a trick on the middle cousin... so when she was asleep, we tied her hands together from under the bed with a rope, and the same for her feet. Once she was all tied down, we started screaming "fire! fire!". She woke up freaking out and unable to move... it was the funniest thing ever!

We stuck a potato in the exhaust pipe of our grummpy neighbours car. We all stood there laughing as the car struggled, only to have our egos burst... when the potato shot out of the exhaust shooting one of my friends straight between the legs!!!
Still very funny to this day

I put salt in a visiting neighbor's coffee, as a child............. and I got my britches dusted for it! LOL.
