shrek 3 is funny. pirates 3 is quite funny as well. perhaps pirates is more age appropriate for the both of you.

Shrek is good and funny, Pirates is more of a love story in this one and would be good to take a date/girlfriend too. Also it has some thrills and adventure in it. I would choose Pirates 3

Pirates 3..... watched both and think that it's funnier than shrek 3.... especially if you like to see a cute and funny monkey and the way johnny depp runs.... = )

I saw the first two Shrek movies, so I strongly recommend you take her to see the third one.

pirates 3 because no offense to shrek but its kinda kiddish if you no what i mean
