Not from yahoo answers, but many years ago, I learned and accepted the truth. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes unto the Father but by Him. AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!!!!!!!!!

Being born an atheist is unremarkable. Varanid lizards are born atheists, too. I don't tend to look up to them as intellectual role models either.
That said, nobody is going to be converted from one position to another by a site like this. Spirituality of any kind, including abiding Christian faith, is existential, in that it is lived. The euphoric embrace of God or Christ comes in lived life; Internet message boards are as far from that as is possible.
I was once a pretty convinced agnostic, in that I felt there was simply no way to obtain the knowledge of whether there was a God or not. My movement towards God, as I said, came from life being lived. Information and reading may help you once you've begun the journey, but the experience of God must come first.
I think the closest you can come to bringing anyone to Christ in a place like this is to simply, honestly, and compassionately answer the questions posted by genuine seekers. Explain your own experience in the context of their question.
Even that won't "convert" them, but it may help them as guidance. Baby steps first.

I was an Atheist as a teenager, and then when I was 20 I became a Christian.
It became clear to me that God is the truth, and my faith in Him is the right thing for my life.
Oh I didn't read through, sorry, my faith in God has nothing to do with this site :)

The majority of atheists are former religious people.
It takes a whole lot of certainty to become an atheist. It's scary, seeing as how we've been threatened with some pretty nasty consequences for not believing in your god.
Don't you think it's likely that for someone to call himself an atheist... he has REALLY looked into the matter, before doing so?
You will find that there is no such thing as a former atheist, turned Christian. There are simply people who had no religion, then turned Christian.
An atheist is not simply someone without religion. It is someone who has actively rejected and/or is opposed to religion.
And as I said, one must be pretty well read on the subject to take that stand. And anyone that's read that much, couldn't possibly become a Christian. Why?
Because your god and your bible have been disproven. You just don't know it yet.

I've never heard of any atheist converting to Christianity after coming here. But the exact opposite (Christian to atheist) has happened quite a few times.

I used to be a Christian, but I left it to become a Deist. The reason: I found out Christianity wasn't the truth.

I am an ex Christian , now atheist, having now found the truth.
A suggestion for you : In addition to your search for the truth, a search for better grammar would not go amiss either.

I'm pretty sure I saw someone mention they were atheist once and are now Christian, but it wasn't due to this site. That was before they got here.

I wish you good luck in finding that one former atheist that is now a Christian. It's bound to be a long, difficult search.
I hope you find him!
