I am not against the Mormon establishment and I believe that many in that organisation , like christiianity and sciencetology, actually belive what has been preached to them, but I have my doubts.
On some of them.
Why you ask ?? Because I have worked in private enterprise with one of them who also was an assistant to a mormon bishop ( sounds like christianity doesn't it ) and who was the most dishonest, lacking in moral fortitude, dishonourable person that I have ever come across in my life. Religion aside.

I do not judge a religion by the actions of one person. I saw in this individual, the conquest of others as a sympthom of what he ahd been taught by this religion.
How can one person, who was also a teacher of young men, be so dishonest and dishonourable in his approach to every day working life yet proclaim loud and clear for all to hear that he was a mormon and thereforte could not be guilty of any crime ?

For Phil C, The reason taht I asked this question was that all the ??'s on mormons were "resolved" on this site. I do not believe that they are.
I am interetsed in what would drive a person to falsify documentation for on a client to achieve a monetary bonus. I am intrigued as to why someone who was so "mormonised" would lie about a colleague to rob that colleague of his employemnt so as to protect himself ??
Is it the religion influence or the man ??

You certainly are subject to your opinion, but I don't think the negative characteristics of this co-worker had anything to do with him being Mormon. We're all imperfect and he just may have had his own issues. Thankfully I don't believe in judging others, because I can't possibly know everyone's situation.
Now, as to the main question...Why are they "resolved"? Because you are allowing others (or the asker) to pick the "best answer", not the perfect answer. Additionally, most poeple pick the answer that supports their beliefs, biasis, agenda, etc., whether they're Mormon or not. Kind of sucks, but it's just the way it is.

Find a group of people 10 Million plus strong that has difficult organizational "rules" to follow where 100% of them keep all the rules all the time.
There are dirt bag Mormons, christians, atheists, Jews, catholics, budhists, Muslims, etc.
I'm sorry that the Mormon you knew made such a bad impression on you.
One invitation that Mormons make, that I think is very unique in religion is this. "Come look at us, study our scripture, our doctrine, attend our meetings, and then seek God's help to know if it is true or not".
I know of no other world church that aggressively makes this invitation. Could it be that other religions don't want their members to ask this question because they're afraid of the answer?
As for the "resolved Mormon questions..."
There are a lot of lies, partial truths, and misconceptions spread blatantly about the Mormon church. Don't believe me....do a search on here for "Mormon" and read the posts. Half of them are "Mormons are a cult" "Mormons worship Joe Smith" "Mormons have worship Satan's brother" etc. Its not as bad as it used to be (no one's run us out of the country in about 150 years, and the Missiouri extermination order was finally rebuked a few years ago....it's finally illegal to kill Mormons there.
We feel strongly about what we believe and defend it. Beats apathy, don't you think?

Just because Yahoo! Answers wants a question resolved does not mean there is a "mormon conspiracy". Why do people think that "conspiracy" goes hand in glove with "Mormon"?
Unfortunately, there have been people in local leadership positions who were less than good people. If you have any evidence or even proof, that this person you speak of is dishonest, then perhaps you should go to the bishop and present your evidence to him. Some people are quite good at hiding their bad side to church leadership.

First off: Mormons are Christians
Second: People are not perfect. Unfortunately there's mormons in leadership positions who have been involved in some shady dealings--I'm glad you're not judging the religion by the church.
As far as the conspiracy thing..Yahoo requires questions to be resolved by a certain time. I'm sure it has nothing to do with mormons...I just did a search and found a ton of unresolved questions involving mormons.

While I am not currently a Mormon (I do have presently the Bookof Mormon); I believe the Mormon faith may be closer to the scriptural truth than many other Americans realize presently. As for the Mormon individual you are working with currently; I will not confirm or deny the person's committment presently.
As for resolved questions regarding Mormons; I will have to watch that piece as I have not noticed it in the past, any differently than non-Mormon questions here on Y.

Brother... those actions are a product of the man, not the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a member the Church and I can assure you that integrity, and honesty are two of many admirable traits we as Latter Day Saints strive for. No one is perfect, I can be the first to testify of that, but I try. It's up to the person on how much faith he or she chooses to exercise.

There are 'Bad Guys" in every corner of culture, but those we have come to respect while being dishonest, perverse and criminal get the attention.
Mormons continually harp about their 'correctness of doctrine', but fall on the "Anyone can make a mistake" when the bad publicity hits the press.
I have to admire the Amish - they live their life according to their ways, don't aggressively proselytize and actually forgive heinous acts of violence against them. Mormons can learn an awful lot from the Amish.
