This is not something for you to try, I think. Voodoo Dolls are used to magically bring suffering to another. This is evil. When you send out evil intention, it comes back to you threefold. This is the "dark side." When you chose to walk this path you harm yourself as well as others. For a time, you may find some delightful power in the magic, but eventually it will fully destroy you.

I highly recommend you think through what you intend to do with the doll. Would you do it to their face, if you could? If not, what you are seeking to do is disproportionate.

A great introduction to it is a classic little book on Hoodoo (Southern folk magick related to Vodoun, or "voodoo") called "Charms, Spells, and Formulas," by Ray Malbrough. I go back to it *all the time*. Do books take too much time for you? Read and research anyway. Think of it as a waiting period, like the kind you get for a gun, that gives you time to think, cool off, and not do something you'll regret.

Alternatively, you can visit a botanica. (Search using that word and your town's name.) That's a Vodoun/Santeria store with supplies and people who know how who will talk to you and help you out. They'll help you work out what you really want and need to do. They may want to sell you on making the doll themselves and working magick for you. You can do that, if you want, but you don't have to.
