You will need a visa permitting you to work, obtained before you leave Malaysia. Otherwise, all you will get is a 6 month tourist visa at the airport(and that only if you show the ability to support yourself whilst you are in the country). You could enter the country, then seek employment, but you would then need to obtain permission to remain.

I wouldnt hang on to having a Degree unless it was earned in Britain.Should you apply for and be accepted for a job requiring a Degree you would have to resit it in Britain. We may be short of say Night club bouncers but otherwise we are Ok thanks. The bottom line is that we have had enough we dont want you here.

The problem in my area isn't getting work, it is getting somewhere to live!! There is a huge shortage of affordable accommodation in all areas of the UK I'm afraid. What I did years ago with my boyfriend was work in a hotel because they gave you living quarters. The pay was bad, but we had somewhere to live and we got fed. They took money off your wages to cover the cost, but it was okay short-term.
