after sending my details he sent me a soft copy of appointment letter where he says that i need to contact the nigerian immigration servi. to attain visa and he has given me the name of person whome to contact also ie james bello head of abuja nis, and mr james sends me a format of visa application and asks me after conformation of application i need to pay 1450 us dollers for processing upon this the hotel will issue the work permit. the amount incurred on this will be reembrused once i reach there

The hotel wants you to pay? I suppose that's alright if it's to the immigration services directly that you are paying? Or is to this Mr. James?
If it is to someone other then a government agency that you are paying then I would be really careful if I were you. Also it seems to be a really high amount to pay just for a visa. Be careful.

It is a SCAM...anything from Africa and especially Nigeria is a SCAM....
Edit: Raddisson is a US company..if they were to hire you to work in Nigeria, they would do it from here and pay all the costs for you to work overseas...tell this person to go fu@k themselves...
