We have a teflon, non stick (year right) baking pan. We baked some chicken breasts in the pan. The juices seem like the bonded with the teflon. Normal scraping does not remove the mess. Is there a chemcial or product we can use?

Fill the pan with boiling water and add a little dish washing liquid. Let it sit for about ten minutes pour out the water and then try to scrub. I use a little flat plastic device called a pan scraper. You can get them really cheap (I got mine for 50 cents each) at any cooking supply store or off the internet.( If you can't find a pan scraper use a flat plastic spatula.) They are really great for teflon or nonstick pans because they are plastic and don't scratch the coating. The boiling water trick always works for me, you could also fill the baking pan with a little water and put in the oven until it gets really hot...just add a little dish washing liquid...Good luck

My trick for baked on burnt pans is using gel Dishwashing detergent (Used in dishwasher) cover bottom of pan without adding any water and let sit for about an hour then scrub off, I have yet to find anything burnt resistant to this method. Good Luck
