Sometimes I feel like the only adults in the world are the Christians. There is a certain grace that we have that is lacking in the atheist world. It feels good knowing I'm saved. I don't care too much about those who may be lost, but I know Jesus does, so that's why I carry forth.

Did you know that you can be with your father in heaven forever. Just say these words :"Jesus, I am lost without you. I don't know anything without you holding me. I am naive and lost in this world. Please take me into your arms and cradle me, giving me the nurturing I need. No more immoral behavior. Just you and me"

Try is sometime. Maybe you'll save your life. :)

Hey, Chucky, I have never seen you display 'grace' in any of your postings here. Why don't you simply accept that ALL paths lead to the same place; there is no 'hell', and that prayers are useless?

Oh, I do not agree. I am a Christian and I know that I am saved in the Lord. But, I do care about all those who are lost!! I also believe that atheists can be careing and loving. They just don't know the truth we do. Saying that you think we Christians are the only adults in the world and that you don't really care about those who are lost....Well thats not very loving or caring. We are to exhibit the love of Christ, we are to set the example as Christians. We are set here to show others the way!! Please, rethink your role as a Christian.

Grow up. You sound like some pathetic little sub asking for mercy from your dominatrix.

"Mistress, I am lost without you. I don't know anything without you holding me. I am naive and lost in this world. Please take me into your arms and cradle me, giving me the nurturing I need. No more immoral behavior. Just you and me"

Get a LIFE.

While I agree witih you about the majority of the atheists, you are sadly mistaken if you feel the only adults in the world are Christians.

With this post, you have proven to be just as childish. Morality is about saving yourself, being a responsible person to yourself, and therefore being a responsible person to other people. Religion doesn't make this happen, anti-religion doesn't make this happen. The INDIVIDUAL makes this happen.

I hope you can open your eyes a little bit and see this.

"I don't care too much about those who may be lost"

It is wonderful that you have found Him for He is risen indeed.
I must, however, offer a correction, in Christian love, in that the two greatest commandments were regarding love.
First that you love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.
Secondly that you love your neighbor as yourself - as Christ loved the church...even unto death.
There are no greater commandments than these.

Matthew 22:36-40

Mark 12:28-31

Pray for the lost. If one comes to repentenance, through the Holy Spirit, how wonderful it would be to enjoy an eternity with them in glory. May it be so.

You are correct in that Christ does, indeed, care for the lost. That is why He waits - why He is "longsuffering".

2Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Jesus might have been a nice guy, sure, but he was no god.

You said, "I don't care too much about those who may be lost"

Well, that's nice of you isn't it? But if you don't care, then leave them alone! Honestly, I just wish Christians would stop hounding others to believe in their religion. Leave people alone, and you won't get people angry at you.

I used to be a Christian for many years and you couldn't pay me to go back. I have a great life now and am finally at ease. When I was a Christian, I was in fear everyday, miserable.

So, no. I'm a person, not sheep. I know my answer sounds angry but I'm tired of people not thinking for themselves.

Funny - I think just the opposite. Christian adults are the most judgemental, self-riteous people I know. I have seen more lack of grace in Christians than I have ever seen in people of any other faith. Your statement that you don't care to much about those who are lost proves my point. Christians only care about themselves and their group identity. It's disgusting to me.

As a Wiccan, I believe in the Rede - Do what you will but harm none. Modern Day Christians are all about harming other people. It is harmful to tell people that they will burn in hell if they don't believe in Jesus. Do you really want people to believe in Jesus out of fear? That isn't faith. That is bullying.

Believe what you will - that is your choice. I challenge you to look at your own heart - your statements are quite disturbing.

I'm a christian also. However I would like to point out that if u were a true christian yourself you would care about those who are lost. It's called compassion and Jesus is our example of that. Your attitiude about not caring for the lost goes AGAINST everything the Word of God teaches. You shouldn't post stuff like this on here YOU are making ALL christians look bad!!

I'm concerned that you don't care too much about those who may be lost--because you were lost and Christ cared about you. If we are trying to live as Christ then shouldn't we care for even the least of these. The Lord comes to us through many different people and if we turn our backs on them-aren't we turning our backs on Him--

Sometimes I feel sane. Sometimes insane. But my Lord and Savior, Jesus, remains the same always.

Jesus said the most important of all the commandments was "Love Thy Neighbor As Thyself." Thank You, Jesus, for loving us enough to save us.

God bless.
