The war is not popular so this is a diversion. People fear the unknown and there is a fear the Latino culture will become the majority in America.
We need many of these people whether we want to admit it or not. Our country is based on someone else doing someone else's work. Even if you send the criminals back home they would be back into the states before the drivers get back home.

Not all illegal aliens come to the United States to work at jobs American Citizens don't want, some are potential terrorist such as the conspirators that were plotting an attack in Fort Dix and the attempted attack in Seattle Washington on New Years Eve 2000.

Please don't be so damn gallant about this issue. Every other country has better border patrols than the United States and that is disconcerting.

Hardly. Americans are perfectly capable of focusing on more than one situation at a time.

Both issues involve preserving the security of our nation - what could be more important? While the troops fight overseas to keep foreign terrorists off our shores, the foreign invasion continues at home of a people who wrongly believe a large part of our country is rightfully theirs. (Read the history books.) Both threaten our country's security and our way of life. Both must be dealt with swiftly.
