I've wondered the same thing. I've received 2 violations in the past day or so dissing the state of MASS and Sweaty Teddy, so I won't dis them here. But, I think the Kennedy's put something in the water in the great state of MASS, which has clouded the common sense gene of it's residents. That's the only explanation I can think of.

They talk the talk. It's so easy to criticize the opponents and make false allegations.
What other infamous people have been re-elected?. Marion Barry in Washington D.C. Jefferson in Louisiana.( alleged 90,000 dollars cash in his freezer) That's what I call cold cash! LOL Ray Nagin in New Orleans (remember the pictures of the buses flooded in the parking lot)
That's all off the top of my head.
The media is flooded with liberals.
Ever find balanced debate between Democrats and Republicans. I get appalled when the supposed mediator on a news show allows three on one. On top of that, in my observations, the Liberals or Democrats filibuster the time allotted, make unsubstantiated statements or raise false issues. ( such as Republicans cutting Social Security benifits.Slowing the rate of growth of the benefits IS NOT cutting benefits)
The big problem here is it is so difficult to set the record straight in a 15 second time frame when it only takes five seconds to make a false allegation.

it's the kennedy name, the money, and the idea that they are american royalty. his family has been in the limelight for 100 years, so it makes sense. ted kennedy is a new england institution . . . not sure if he's perfect for the job, but he's been 'grandfathered in', as they say.

If they didn't reelect him he would come home and start driving and chasing young women. I think it is a better question to ask why Republicans like McCain try to work with him.

He should have been in prison, not Congress.
Come to think about it, the proportion of criminals is about the same, either place.
