Hi! If you like apple-tasting wines, I would suggest a German "Gerwurtztraminer" (Guh-vertz-trah-meen-or) which is delicious, crisp and has a definite taste of apples. The great thing about this type of wine is that it is relative inexpensive. Some Rieslings, like Chateau St. Michele from Washington State, have that apple-ee taste. Make sure you check the label when you purchase, both Riesling and Gerwurtztraminer come in long, green bottles. Drink what you like!

A cider wine is actually made with apples ... could this have been what you tried? Otherwise, some white wines (typically very dry ones) have notes of apple ...albeit subtle.
Anything more pronounced, I'd tend to believe you were drinking an actual apple wine.

I'm not to sure which wines taste like apple juice..I would suggest going to your local wine shop or liquor store and ask the manager or a staff member if they can help you find that particular Wine* or one similar* GoodLuck*

This exact same thing happened to me once. I tried this wine at a wine tasting and couldn't remember it. I went to my local wine store and asked them if they knew of any wines that tasted tlike apple juice! LOL. They suggested to me to try some Reislings. They are very sweet and yummy. Also my faves are Fess Parker (the best, but hard to find) and i also like Sutter Home Moscato. Good luck finding one you like. I had to buy a lot of poopy ones to find another one i liked.

It is possibly a Reisling, but if it is, it's on the very sweet side of the scale and to most people sickly tasting. If it wasn't wine, then you drinking a sweet cider or even a perry, though the latter is pear it's easily mistaken

My brother makes wine and he made a wine that was called 'Apple Riesling' and had a robust apple flavor to it...pretty tasty and potent :)
