Kids are fascinatingly simple in their thoughts so I imagine they are dreaming of their next move in a game and defeating the system of that game...or ...wondering what is there to do next since they never seem to be idle,...or...pondering what Mom is making to eat ..=)

I think they're doing what we do when we zone out and dream - trying to assimilate all the sights, sounds and information they were bombarded with that day. Sometimes my 7 month-old will even chuckle to himself as he drifts off to sleep, and I can't help thinking that he's remembering a funny sight or sound. I can't wait until he starts talking so I can ask him what he's thinking!

some kids when they dream they think about life or even sex sometimes majority of them do not all if he doesn't talk don't wonder maybe sometimes he just don't know what to say to you or how you would react to him if he told you what was going on in his dream or when he is in the zone
