Why is there so many questions about religion and god on here ... Religion is a load a crap it was designed to control people financially and mentally and that is the height of it..
How can one religion be right and all the others wrong?

surely if god is the great creator, when he created dinosaurs he would have wanted them to follow a religion?

What are you talking about, I think you're just a callow person. Everyone knows that creatures don't have a religion. I agree with the first answer, your question is a load of crap.

Because there are those of us who have taken the time to study about religion, theology, and God, and found that there are some very convincing arguments for belief in him. Visit a library sometime and take a look at how large a section is set aside just for books on that subject.
The need to understand who we are, where we came from, what our purpose is in life, and how to relate to God is fundamental to every human. It is a question that every single person struggles with at some point in their life. And the overwhelming majority come to a belief in God.
As for your question about the dinosaurs. What the Bible claims makes man unique is that he has a "spirit". Like all other living creatures, man (and dinosaurs) have a physical body that interactions with the physical world and a soul which controls their mind, will and emotions. Watch you family pet sometime, and you will see their emotions reflecting in a dog's tail or a cat's rubs.
But man has a third part, called the spirit. That is why he alone has developed moral codes, religion, and a belief in God. It is that which separates him from all the other living creatures.

Since you did not notice this is Religion & Spirituality section, therefore that is what is suppose to be on here, & since your question is not that of religion, why are you here, Now you seem to think that religion is a load of crap, Yes religion is, But salvation is Not, there is a big difference, & you ask how can one religion be right & all others wrong, simply, there is only ONE FAITH as the bible states, & I go back & read what the Apostles of Old taught, & I am satisfied, You ask what religions is the dinosaurs, Read Gen. 9:1 & see what God told Noah, He said REPLINISH the earth, Then go back to see what God told Adam n Gen. 1:28 To REPLINISH the earth, Which means to fill it up again, you see every mystery in the bible has an answer.

There are questions because it is important to many people. Not just because of the spiritual aspects but the support mechanisms, social impact and calming influence.
Other than the cults there is no single right religion. A religion is what a person is taught from birth or chooses later in life. I truly cannot stand people who feel that anyone who does not believe as they is condemned to an eternity of torture.
The Dinosaurs were Catholic. C'mon - that is a lame statement.
Having said all that I will tell you I am Agnostic. That is a person who cannot comprehend of a thinking supreme being.
I believe that God is the power and force of nature. To be worshiped?? Well - for sure we should - must - follow the laws of nature. We are already seeing the consequences of ignoring them.
All in all I suspect your core beliefs are not too dissimilar from mine. But even as an Agnostic I find your manner of expressing your disagreement offensive.

When someone tells you about the love and mercy of God, you are receiving words that are worth more than money. When you believe and receive Jesus as your Savior, God's Holy Spirit reveals all these answers to your questions. The dinosaurs are a simple answer. They died before God created Adam because He knew we would need fossil fuel. Time means nothing to God because He didn't have a beginning or an end.

Dinosaurs were animals and animals aren't expected to follow religion. Cows and horses and pigs don't go to shurch, do they?
You may have had a bad experience with a church but that does not mean that God isn't real.
The bible said there would be many false prophets along the way and not all churches are real.
Don't take that to mean that God isn't good.
God is almighty and will let you see what its really about.
Try praying and developing a personal relationship with God and then find a GOOD church to grow your faith in God.
Pray about it. Really.

Most of (not ALL) the postings in this category aren't questions about religion. They are attacks at others who don't believe the same thing they do or they are rants expressing personal opinions. Since this medium of the internet isn't very confrontational, people tend to say what they normally wouldn't in a face to face conversation.

The christians have claimed the dinasaurs as either failed due to satan or hiding within the ark, so now you have a normal ship containing two by two of very large creatures and still the religious believe. People believe in allsorts and the religious do seeem to be filled with hatreds like homophobia
Edit: Curious has made my point by repeating the old lie of incest bieng comparable to gays - it's only religious and various homophobes who say that.
