Depends on where in Australia you want to go. If its Brisbane or Melbourne then fly Brittish, if its Sydney then pick the cheapest.

according to the worlds largest airline survey last year brittish were voted #1.
i would fly the cheapest. either way they are both safe and you will arrive safely, and spend what ever you saved in Australia!

If you fly Virgin Atlantic you will be swimming a lot of the way. They do not fly to Australia. And I cannot recall seeeing a BA plane at the airport for quite a while.

Ian is actually incorrect, Virgin do fly to Australia from the UK, but only to Sydney. If you can afford it, fly with them.
