If you've eaten a lot of garlic then you may have a problem as the garlic smell will leave your body through all the pores in your skin, but if you've just got a lot on your hands the Lemon juice should do the trick.
One point of interest, if you're into creating your own pottery you should wear gloves after eating garlic as the trace garlic will show up as black spots on your pottery once fired!

Use lemon, but make sure you wash your hands in cold water not hot as this keeps the pores in the hands closed so that the Garlic does not get in...do the same with onions as well, wash hands in cold water...
If that doesn't work try this..!!!
To remove the garlic smell from your hands, simply rub your hands with a stainless steel spoon or other stainless steel utensil.
Don't have stainless steel utensils on hand? A little salt or baking soda rubbed on the hands should do the trick, also.

After you've washed them with soap a few times, cut a lemon in half and rub your hands with the lemon so that the juice and pulp gets all over them. Leave it for a bit, then rinse it off. Should smell better afterwards (thats if you prefer the smell of lemon to the smell of garlic).

Garlic absorbs into your skin and is hard to get rid of the smell. Having garlic on your hands can make your breath smell like garlic, even if you didn't eat any!!!
Lemon juice will dull the smell but won't get rid of it completely. Best bet is to get everyone you are going to be around to eat garlic too, then they won't smell it on you.

After washing them with warm soapy water, I know for sure that when smelling lots of scents of perfume at once you can't tell the diff. after a while. So they say to sniff coffee and it works. It kind of clears the scent of the perfume from your nose. I don't know but try to rub some dry coffee on your hands. If all else fails see if you can get some scented lotion and use it.
I have also heard lemmon juice works.
Last option stay in and watch vampire movies ;)

Rubbing hands on metal is a good way of clearing odour. Use a metal bench top or any small piece, whatever you can find.

Lemon Juice.............But with a little salt or Bicarbonate of soda for extra effect otherwise they will still smell a little of garlic and a lot of lemon!!
Then rinse with WARM water!! Cold closes the pores and traps the smell!!
