Does anyone remember 3.11?
How did or rather do you feel about it?
Did you suffer less or more internet problems whilst using it, as opposed to win 2k, me or xp etc?

I remember it as very simple OS, but I didn't use it to connect to the Internet. I don't think the Internet was available around that time. I think Windows95 was the first OS I used to connect to the Internet but it might have been Win98 before things really started to take off.

In my opinion it was fine - better than XP, not as good as 98SE.
I would have continued to use it for longer had it not been for the lack of 32-bit support.

The OS you are running and the quality of your internet connection are entirely unrelated.

thats comparing apples and oranges, so many things have changed since times gone by :p

But i bet you most people had more problems back then, it was a small world compared to what it is now and less help around each corner

It was crud.

Ugly, slow, hard to configure, etc. and crashed all the time. The PC's were very slow, too.

The first decent version was W2K, IMHO.
