Its not okay at all. Anyone who uses terms that are derogatory to an ethnicity are immoral and idiotic. I don't know Charles Barron, but I do know Al Sharpton. I have heard some of the more questionable comments he's made. I feel like the white culture looks at Sharpton and feels that he speaks for the entire black culture, though. Just because he says that, doesn't mean every black person agrees. The problem is that when statements like this are made, no one comes out to call people on it. In turn (just my opinion), white people get frustrated when the black community does say something about a racist statement a white person makes. Its not the black community's fault that we stand up for ourselves and unify when we are wronged. As someone who is part white, I'll be happy to stand up and rally with you when racially inappropriate comments are made in regards to white folk....but I bet we'll be the only people there.

It's not ok to hate anyone and it's definitely not ok to hate someone for the skin color they are born with. You just don't hear influential people in the media speaking out againsnt hatred towards White people so I guess some think it's right and accepting to do.

We really cannot trust anyone who urges us to "hate" anyone. This means that they want us to agree with them so as to justify their animosity toward someone or some group. Are we that weak that we cannot make up our own minds who we are to be friends with in this world?
Ideally, we are to be at peace with everyone. That doesn't mean that we have to invite everyone in the world to our birthday party or Thanksgiving dinner...just keep at peace with them. If you don't like someone's politics or habits or even the way they wear their hair, stay away.
It is best said,
1 John 3:14-16 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
15Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in him.

I believe the application is that two wrongs do supposedly make a right.
I'm a white honky (see, i can take it) but this pro-black kinda gets up my nose just as much as the next mans. It's fine for people to say "I'm black and proud", hell, I agree, keep doing it. But it irritates me that i can't stand up and say "I'm white and proud" without people whacking me with the racist stick.

I don't really understand your question but if you hate someone because of the color of their skin its racists regardless of the color of your skin
My husband heard a black guy say that he couldn't be racists because hes black that's just ignorant

Don't have a clue of what you are saying. Who says it is right to hate white people? Who says it is right to hate anybody? Peace my brother, peace.
