Do you choose a best answer or do you just let the voters do the work?

I'm wondering why some people don't choose a best answer! Like I was so eager to help the person but it seems like he/she didn't appreciate my research. grrrhhhh!

I choose the Best Answer myself most of the time, because I know it will make people more pleased.^_^

Anyway, you don't have to be mad, you STILL did get the Best Answer for that question, be grateful.

I prefer to choose the best answer. I did answer a question about 2 weeks ago and the person didn't choose a best answer so it has gone to the voters. I don't know what the end result on that question will be though.

you get 3 points when you choose a best answer so I always do. It makes me mad when I answer a question then a month later see, "you earned 11 points!" I am also eager to give the person the credit they deserve for answering my question the best.
