Fat for me. While I am overweight, When I hear the word OBESE, I think 400 plus pounds. I had a heart attack in the year 2000. While in REHAB the nurse who was assigned to me told me that I was MODERATELY OBESE. For some reason I did NOT like the way she put it and it really bothered me to no end. I have since lost considerable weight but am still overweight.

I'd rather be called fat. Fat is an overused word. You hear it from people everyday. "Does this skirt make me look fat?" You don't hear people saying, "Does this skirt make me look obese?" Obese is such a serious and scary word.
