What led you to believe that God does not exhist?

I've never thought of myself as "believing in God". I've always thought of it more as believing in a "higher power", something more spiritual and less religious.
That having been said, I believed as a child, and as a teen allowed the poor behavior of the local religious groups to convince me there was nothing to believe in except hypocrisy. As an adult, I was able to reconnect to my spirituality.
I still can't tell you if "God" does or doesn't exist. That's a question of personal faith and preferences. I can tell you there are things which touch my soul and give me hope. (*shrug*) For me, that's enough.

It's not that I don't believe in GOD........? But no-one has come back to prove there is a GOD???? I hope there is a better place after death, because a lot of people will be disappointed that they have been miss led for a lifetime !!!!!

I used to believe in God when I was little. I no longer believe in God. Somehow my friend convinced me that God isn't real, and I still believe him. Even my other friend's thought, that God is the moon, makes more sense than half the things that the bible says.

if all the governments relinquish the power of the religions many may truly find true spirituality
and then there wont be anything to fight over because there wont be dominian,greed,control
think about it never being told you are going to hell,death,bad person blah blah blah

i never really actually lost my faith in god i just got angry w/ him and went a different path(which wasnt the a good path it just lead me to lies and lost hopes) but i alway ask for forgive w/out god lost

well i still believe but my brother doesnt because he thinks God never talks to him.
