So the last time I had sexual intercourse was in late March. I then had my period at my normal period time in mid April. I did not have my period in mid May like I was suppose to. I am approaching a month late period now. I feel very bloated and heavy. I am studying abroad currently in another country and I have had some days where I have eaten more than I should have. Is it possible to be pregnant if you get your period still and then miss a period the 2 month? Would I know if I was pregnant? I do feel very bloated, but I don't have any other symptoms except the missed period. I really just wish I could get my period, I feel like I am getting heavier the longer I go without a period. I have never been on the pill before but my period has been on time for the last year or so but it has varied in weeks- never this late though. I thought I might get my period yesterday because my roommate got hers and she's on the. Why am I late- am I pregnant?

It could also be stress related. When we get stressed about something (good or bad) it can affect our period and cause it to be late. Weight can also affect our periods. You mentioned that you are studying abroad so I would recommend getting in touch with your dr if you can to see what they say. If they have web access to leave a message you can leave the message that way and where to e-mail you or pass the message on to your family who can then contact you.

The other thing you could do is to try and get a pregnancy test (if they are sold over the counter in the country where you are) and check that way to see if you might be pregnant.
