Well, what happened in the 2001 World Series? Johnson came through and Clemens didn't. Clemens is below average in the post-season. And by the way, I think that's arguable that Clemens has had a better overall career. Did you not see that yesterday Johnson passed him up for all time strikeouts? And in about a 1000 fewer innings at that. Also, Johnson pitched a perfect game and a no-hitter, Clemens has never done either.

Clemens today because Johnson has had some injury problems and is not the pitcher he once was. In their prime it would be a toss-up, how could you pick one over the other with the dominance the have both displayed.

Apparently my team wasted all it's pitchers in the previous 7 games? Unless this is ten years ago...in which case it's a toss-up...but I would say Roger over Johnson because he was a better big game pitcher....if this is for this year...I guess I'll take Johnson because he is a little less broken down than Roger and I would put my bullpen on high alert.

Out of those two, my heart says Johnson since I am a fan, but my gut says Clemens since he has a better playoff track record.
However, If I was allowed to pick anyone it would John Smoltz as far as current pitchers.

Clemens does have some off-season experience, but I would go with a left handed pitcher

It depends on who is healthy or who is not.Johnson seems to be having a better career this year.Maybe pitching in Arizona is not as stressful as pitching for the Yankees.I would have to go with Randy.

Clemens, he's pitched in many big games and he has a ton off postseason experience. He knows what to do in those big games.

Clemens....he's played in many "big games" and can handle the pressure. Johnson can be a little unpredictable at times...

If we're talking about those two in their Prime then I would agree with you and take the UNIT. He was devastating when he was younger.
