Everybody is entitled to their opinion. I have given mine plenty of times and been sadly slagged off for it. Usually by the MCcann supporters. I just don't understand why people get so nasty in the first place. Yes I have retaliated to many of the nasty anwers I received and I think I have every right to. Anyone else having a similar problem??

Madgal - I don't have a problem with people answering my questions at all. I have a problem with people turning abusive and writing nasty comments. Some people are just on here to take out there anger on others. Very sad.

Uh oh look at the people who don't support the MCcanns. You are getting thumbs down!! I'm guessing the MCcann supporters are lurking.

Ive gotta admit I thrive off the fact people try to give me grief about my opinion. At least I can back it up which is a lot less than others can do on here who instead resort to name calling, and other stuff you would expect to see from 11 year olds in a playground.
Personally why people are defending two adults who placed not 1 but 3 of their children in such a precarious position and then
a) refuse to accept what they did was wrong
and
b) then expect the public to fund their 'search' for Madeleine which is nothing more than a joke as they havent got one single member of their entourage actually 'searching' for Madeleine.
Do something that leads to the death of a child, and as a result get private jets at your disposal and get to meet the Pope?? The world has gone mad.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and some people like to express that on Yahoo answer, but this whole thing is lingering on and on with no results of what happened to Maddie. I think most people expect some kind of results by now. Everytime I open a newspaper or hear the news on TV or Radio the story keeps changing which could be why there are no clues or leads for anyone to follow. Lies only keeps thing festering. Honesty is the best policy to move this forward and start getting results. But it is turning into a McCann story rather then Madeleine herself. Yes everyone has a right to their decision and nobody does not have the right to slag others. Before I get slagged this is only my views.

There are bullies on both side of the fence.
I don't see anyone supporting the McCanns leaving their babies alone but do see quite a few folk (me included) who sympathise (not support) their grief at their Madeleine paying the price for their terrible decision. We do not tear their every action & expression to pieces. We do not read deep dark sinister motives into their every move. Its called "Innocent until proven guilty". Let the law judge them. Don't belittle their attempt to right their wrong. Now, this is my opinion. You have yours. I agree some people have been downright rude & acidic...but remember this kind of an unhealthy attitude has been expressed on both sides; not only towards the anti-McCanns but towards the McCann sympathisers & the McCann's as well. Its a problem, i guess, that comes with free speech...Ignore them. They'll learn, hopefully.

Bullies never learn, mainly because they have a low IQ. At school they bully kids who they know are brighter than they are because they dimly perceive that they will end up on the dole and the brighter ones won't.
As adults they are incapable of recognising facts or arguments that differ from their mindset so they, therefore, fall back on insults or abuse.. They live in the chav world that they accuse other people of.
They do this because they are envious and jealous of success. If you look at the more abusive q&as you will see that 'envy' and 'jealousy' are often used to describe anyone
who criticises the McCanns. I rest my case.

Most people on here seem to be agreed that the whole thing has become a circus, that the McCanns should accept they were neglectful, and that Mr McCann seems a bit too cool, calm and collected. However there are some people who cant think for themselves and have been fooled by team McCann, and there must be some friends and family of the parents on here who will naturally stick up for them

I think you will find that most people are not "defending" the actions of the McCanns. I think you will find most people agree that leaving their children was irresponsible.
It just seems in bad taste to continuously attack them on here for a variety of other reasons NOT related to the fact that they left their kids alone.
The constant attacking of their use of private planes for transport.. so what?? If someone who owns a plane chooses to donate its use to them... I would take it. How can it be said that they are enjoying the high life? Now if I saw them out having dinner in each of these cities they are travelling to.. fair enough, but I don't. I see them moving from press conference to press conference to try and keep Madeleine's plight in the media eye. I fail to understand what anyone would enjoy from this.

I agree entirely the world has been so focussed on the plight of a little girl they have forgotten the fact that her parents left her and her siblings alone in a foriegn country, but answer this would the country be so synpathetic if it was a mr &mrs working class from a council estate somewhere,no they wouldn't the parents would of been hung out to dry and all the blame placed on them ,but because the mcanns are respectable middle class proffesionals nothing is said, obviously this is a double standard.

When questions are asked on YA, people are within their rights to post their points of view. You may not like all the answers posted.
But if all the answers were in favour of your question/remark it would be a boring old world.
Can you honestly say that you have never opposed some of the questions/remarks on YA?

Remember, you are entitled to you opinions, ignore people who get abusive when they disagree with you, this is a sign of low intelligence, they cannot think of a reasonable argument against your opinion.

I am a none supporters of the McCanns for what they have done to their children, especially Madeleine. They put their friends first before putting their children.
