Yes, Canadians do play cricket and they have a national team that has been playing in the tournaments arranged by International Cricket Council (ICC)'s for its associate member countries. Canada is yet to be a full member of ICC, and their level is not as high as the ICC full member teams yet, nevertheless, Canada played in the Cricket World Cup Tournament and in that tournament they have beaten Bangladesh (one of the ICC's full member countries) once. Seems like they have been continuously improving in cricket.

yeah canada does play cricket and is a part of the ICC, although the team itself is not very good, John Davison is quite good and is supposed to have scored the fastest 100 in world cup cricket

probable a quota device or something. Cricket in Canada is unquestionably at a worse state at grassroots point than it incredibly is even in continental Europe! I propose, in eu colleges, cricket is unquestionably taught, albeit as a marginally eccentric, boring English activity. In Canada, i do no longer think of many colleges that don't have a great Indian base prepare the interest in any respect! in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, if the ICC and Cricket Canada certainly get off their behinds and concentration on coaching ethnic "community" Canadians with regard to the interest, cricket ought to certainly declare to be transforming into among the inhabitants. it incredibly is incredibly no longer as vast as Ice Hockey, Gridiron, or Baseball, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it must be as vast as soccer or tennis there sooner or later ( the latter 2 activities are extra immigrant-pushed in Canada than one might think of).
