i own a 2002 v6 Mustang which i've had for about a year now and in the last month or 2 the stereo will shut off intermitantly and come back on after about a second or 2. no particular conditions cause it i've checked the alt and battery. alt pushing out about 100a and battery around 14.4 when running. when stereo cuts out engine seems to hesitate slightly just this morning it stalled on me when it did it. i'm out of ideas can anyone help?

Sounds like ignition switch is going bad---do any other electrical items--- run off the ignition--- cut out temporarily like heater fan or lights?
