I suggest you don't install the transformation pack .. u'r comp won't be able to run any applications at reasonable speeds .. the OS will consume all the resources.. winXP alone takes about 96mb of the RAM for running on "performance" mode .. but with this it should need much more ram .. and you will find everything slowing down because of paging...

Editor's Review - Windows Vista Transformation Pack

Very Good

Features

Stability

Usability

Interface

Want to get a glimpse of what Windows Vista will look like? Now you have the opportunity to transform your Windows XP or Windows 2003 Server's interface into a Windows Vista interface and customize your menus and desktop.

There are lots of skins to apply and what is completely new - a docking Sidebar which can be customized to contain a Memo text feature, clock, organizer, picture slide show and many more. The installation process includes backup of original system files, so that they can be completely restored in case you want to go back to classical Windows GUI.

Pluses: Windows Vista Transformation Pack is a free product.

Drawbacks / flaws: Once installed, it might reduce the speed of your machine and might create system instability

In conclusion: An interesting product with lots of new features just waiting to be put through

Your computer cannot handle it. You need a minimum of 512 mb of ram and 32 mb vga.

Atleast a 2.4 ghz processor.. Otherwise your system will become unstable

800 MHz processor and 512 MB of system memory
20 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space

no longer even close for Assassins Creed. you'll want 1GB ram, REQUIRED 256MB picture card with 3.0 shader - REQUIRED and a minimum of a center Duo Processor - REQUIRED. pronounced for sure is a lot greater! It sucks, my laptop can no longer have the potential to deal with it, and that i've got been waiting a twelve months for it!! Upgrading RAM and Video card is not any large deal. however the Processor??? Ugh... i do no longer think of my spouse will agree that a $500 improve is properly worth it for a million pastime.

It's not vista, its a skin for xp, just to make it clear to others.
I used to use it on my laptop and it worked fine, however i had 1024 mb or ram. I doubt 128mb ram will cut it. I wouldn't advise it, i will mosty likely make your pc slower than it already will be (with 128 you don't get top speed, do you?)

If you install it, it WILL transform your PC, from a workable XP ...to a slow down like hell XP.
There are lots of graphics overhead on this, what you have just wont cut it.

At such specifications, I suggest that you use Win2K. Even so, your computer will also be slow.....
