It's a fair point. Unfortunately, because of the illegal nature of drugs in this country (leaving that whole other argument aside for now), it means that what they're selling come from nefarious sources. The man who sells it to you is just a dealer - he almost certainly can't be sure what's in it, what strength it is or what it might do to you. Also, drugs fund all sorts of other crimes. Back up the line from a drug sale lies a trail which can cover forced prostitution, people-trafficking, murders, various horrible types of pornography (i.e. non-consenting) and numerous other things. Therefore in buying them, you are directly supporting people's suffering and by selling them, you are a step further up the chain. It is not the act of a kind person to make their money this way. They almost certainly think they're only a little operation, selling a bit of this and that to people, but in truth they are being too thoughtless and stupid to see the bigger picture.

Have a look at crime statistics....how many crimes are drug related each year? Have a look at health & hospitalisation statistics.... how many people need to be treated by paramedics for ODs each year? How many people are hospitalised for drug use each year?
How much of your taxes goes towards paying for police, ambos, paramedics hospitals, nurses, doctors etc etc just because idiots take drugs & other idiots sell them!?
How many kids end up as drug addicts & have their lives ruined each year because of these "harmless" drug dealers?
How many people have schizophrenia or other mental illness caused by smoking pot or taking other drugs?
Drugs are stupid, dangerous & cost tax payers a LOT of money each year. Drugs are the cause of a lot of crime around the world especially violent crime!
Dealers perpetuate all of this! Most dealers dont care who they sell to! They will sell to adults or kids! Drug dealers are basicly selfish people who sell drugs simply so they can get money...often to support their own habits! They often sell drugs which they know are tainted with dangerous substances & dont care who is hurt.
So whats wrong with drug dealers? Why dont u think about that for a moment & perhaps u will come to a conclusion for urself.

Just how many dealers do you know gonna take the time to screen their customers?
Imagine if you will.
"I need to to see your I.D. and you have to sign this disclaimer, saying Im not responsible if you die from overdose ,or any crime you might commit .oh! and don't forget to sign the one where it states you wont drive while under the influence.and you need to promise me you wont have unprotected sex!"
yeah right!
In most states they have laws where bartenders and the owners of bars can be held accountable for allowing drunk customers to drive drunk, esp.if that person is involved in an accident. why should it be any different for dealers?
I think there should be stiffer laws concerning the distribution of drugs, make the dealer be responsible for the atrocities committed while under the influence.I don't foresee this though.
but really, on an ethics level if one is honest with oneself it would be hard to justify contributing to a persons sickness, knowing it destroys them ,the people that love them, increases crime rates and quite possibly shorten or end lives.
Am i my brothers keeper? I should be.

Well i used to be inclined to agree with you, i do agree for non-addictive softer drugs such as cannabis but i have changed my mind for class A drug dealers!Although It is fault of the addict for starting to take the drug, for whatever reason, excuse, but Drug dealers who deal harder drugs Eg Crack, are ususally sick people. They are usually violent towards customers/addicts if they cannot pay, also i have known cases where addicts cant afford to pay for their drugs and the dealers have coerced them into having sex instead for the money. They also use young girls to ship drugs storing them in intimate areas, from country to country/ area to area as they know they are more unlikely to be searched. They try to prevent users from quitting the drugs, by taunting them with 'a free' batch when they are feeling their lowest, as they need all the customers they can get. They usually lie to their families about what they are doing and spend their days violating people and getting innocent victims involved in their mess!

must be the two, yet then it ought to in common terms be the assumption of transforming into speedy funds...yet that "speedy" funds comes at a great possibility. He must be arrested if the guy paying for the medicine seems to be an undercover cop...or he must be killed if a deal is going undesirable. He needs to get out of that company and come across a clean line of valid artwork. in line with danger counseling might help. Your mom would additionally prefer to re-think of letting him stay there. In some places, if a individual harbors a known drug broking, they are able to get in worry, too.

It's a dangerous profession because it's illegal - not the other way around. We already have legalised psychoactive drugs in the form of nicotine and alcohol, which of course generate really massive amounts of revenue in the form of tax.

So all your customers are just how you describe them in your question? come on now! u know people will do anything to buy drugs, prostitute themselves, steal, lie, they are not as you describe are they? once hooked their life falls apart and the dealer is part of the equation although not directly responsible.

I suppose in today's society there is a need for this type of employment. There will always be the drug dealer and maybe it could be controlled to make it legal, such as a high street shop (I know this would never happen)! This would prevent the dodgy dealers, who are out of order and cut drugs with rubbish.
