Do the major cleaning on weekends, during the week just pick up as u go along. If the baby is home with the babysitter all day, ask her to keep up with at least the babies toys n messes. U may also ask her to help with light housekeeping. (might require a lil more $$) In the evenings schedule just 1 or 2 things to take care of..wash/fold clothes, etc.. If ur working full time, its fair to ask ur husband for help. Cook double batches of food and either hv the same thing 2 nights in a row or freeze and hv it later in the week. I had a friend who cooked only on the weekends, she cooked double amounts of 3 meals, then froze everything..so they ate 6 days from the frozen meals and 1 day they went out or had sandwiches. This will save time. Just remember that keeping ur house decent n healthy is all u hv to try for..not perfection. Ur child will grow up to remember family time n a happy relaxed mom more than a clean house. :-)

Oh gosh! I remember it well.
Keep a shower curtain or vinyl table cloth under the baby's high chair for fast clean ups when meals are over.
Generally:
sort your mail while standing over the trash can...no need to let that stuff pile up.
get some good mats for the floor just inside your door...that will catch a lot of the dirt that comes in.

Clean a mess after it happens. Don't wait, and there won't be any pile ups. Clean up kitchen after a meal, pick up toys before bed, vacuum and mop when needed. I am a stay at home mom and I do various clean ups all day long. If we all weren't home, the house would stay much cleaner and I could just pick up as we go. ;) Good luck!

i've got no little ones yet I do have 6 animals working around and a husband so my homestead can get exceptionally grimy, and that i'm the single that continuously finally ends up cleansing lots of the homestead. What I do is customary I save a wide-unfold tidyness to my homestead. in case you spot it %. it up, in case you drop it %. it up. another day I vacuum my residing room as this is the only room that has carpet, and sweep and mop the HW flooring. For the youngsters' rooms i could set a "rewards" chore checklist. Have your little ones clean their own rooms (of course they are sufficiently previous to scrub their own because of the fact they are in seperate rooms and the two 'very grimy') and reward them for the cleanest room on the tip of the week. bogs: My husband and that i began out cleansing the bathe as quickly as we get out and this prevents construct up and our bathe has a large situation with mold. We clean the bogs as quickly as each and every week and mop it another day. If the bogs are a serious mess (crap occurs to all and sundry) have a rest room brush obtainable. Kitchens: We continuously do the dishes as quickly as we use them. As for surfaces as quickly as we cook dinner we clean. We wipe down each and all of the counters with a bleach and Laundry detergent concoction. This no longer purely kills bacteria and germs it leaves a impressive clean scent too. (do no longer use dish detergent because it is going to create a toxic fume and could make you ill/worse) as long because of the fact the youngsters are helping (and that they might desire to) it is going to be a breeze to maintain your companion and teenagers clean.
