East 17 attempted a comeback last year but it fell through due to more arguing between the members. Brian Harvey attemtped a solo comeback by applying to sing for Britain in the Eurovision Song Contest, but he never got picked.

East 17:The Reunion
On 29th May 2007, 10pm Channel 4 showed a documentary called East 17:The Reunion, whilst The Independent newspaper reports that the trio of Harvey, Coldwell and Hendy are currently working on new material for a forthcoming album project.
The documentary played up the tensions within the band. Ironically, the band members themselves made many comparisons between themselves and Take That without realising that the lack of comraderie may have been the principal reason behind the failure to re-launch successfully.
