If you skip court they will put a warrant out for your arrest... doesn't matter how old you are. Deal with it now.

No. If you skip Court, the judge will issue a warrant for your arrest. That warrant will stay in effect until you are arrested and appear before the judge. At that time, you can still be placed on juvenile probation... in CA until you're 21 in some cases, 23 in others... NOTHING disappears just because you turn 18... and juvenile records aren't sealed until a Court orders it.

Doing the irresponsible thing now will only make things worse later. Figure that out now, or you'll also end up with an adult record. And stop taking legal advice from your friends... sheeeesh..

I'm not sure what world you live in, but you can't skip court and use your age as an excuse, you'll be forced to go no matter the age if you skip, to the extend of the authorities putting a warrant out for your arrest.

Once you are in trouble with the law, no matter the age, it stays on your record. That is why it is called a "permanent record."

the courts will issue a warrant, it won't be pretty. get a lawyer now. at the very least, you go to court and ask for a new court date to get a lawyer. but check with the lawyer first, it's a certain phrase you need to say to the judge and prosecuter. I'm not happy I know that info, but my son was no angel in high school. contact a lawyer, first consultation is usually free. Good luck to you and stay out of trouble.

No, you can't just skip court. If you're a minor it most likely won't be too serious. In most cases it won't go on your record, but you have to cooperate with them. Good luck.
