IS IT REALLY POSSIBLE THAT ANIMALS CAN TELL BEFORE AND EARTHQUAKE IS GONNA HAPPEN? I'VE HEARD THAT BEFORE AND I AM NOT SURE, AND THEY CAN TELL, WHAT IS IT THAT THEY DO?

A lot of people believe they can. Animals are much more sensitive to sounds, vibrations, and some people even think they have some kind of ESP. Animals all act differently when an earthquake is coming. Some animals do absolutely nothing. Other animals like elephants will completely disappear into the forest and not return until after the quake. Many birds will take flight and stay in the air until after an earthquake is over. Some pets will try to warn their owners by vocalizing or exhibiting odd behaviors. Some pets will hide, like under a bed or in a closet. Some pets even run away, and will jump fences and squeeze under gates to try to escape the quake. There's even been some documented relationships between how many animals are reported missing in the newspaper, and when an earthquake occurs. Right before a quake, a high number of animals are reported lost in the paper. You can never tell what an animal will do, and if they actually do something, you probably won't even realize what they're doing until after the quake hits. Would you immediately start preparing for an earthquake if your cat looked at you funny? Probably not. The truth is, no one really knows if or how animals know there is a quake.

Yep they can! No one knows why they can, they are still trying to figure it out, but if you look at reports on the massive tsunami that was created by an earthquake in the indian ocean mainly hitting banda aceh in 2005 every single animal the night before was howling or making noises.... the day of the tsunami, they were all reaching for higher ground, and those that coundnt were really restless. They were all around as normal the day after. Strange.

I agree that pets can "feel" the earthquake before it is going to happen. But you have to know that not all pets can feel it, a mamal usually can feel it rather than the other animal. However, my suggestion is do not believe what will be happen based on the animal feeling. Especially, if you live far away from the wild, the pet's feeling (you must look it from its acts) will means ambiguous.

Based on study, animals can sense or feel more than man can do. They move and act in an unusual way and for those animals housed in the wild or forests, they try to find a safer place from where they sense the upcoming earthquake.

Yeah, I've seen it firsthand before. We had a few small scale earthquakes where I live and the cattle would run and kind of group together. I think part of the reason why they can tell better is because they have better hearing than we do and they can hear it, whereas we can't.

They can sense the weak rocking of the ground before the earthquake. I've read that before and it was said that somewhere in Asia (I think China) rats gone crazy before a major earthquake.

Yes....Remember....Hurricane Katrina???

My rabbit Fluffy told me that it was coming. We went to my mom's house in New York and a few weeks later, the hurricane hit. So yes, animals do tell you about earthquakes and stuff.

And no remember if it fairly is readily, Jesus will take the sturdy with Him.
