How does the slingbox work?

I want to watch shows froma slingbox at work through my laptop. Do I need to have my laptop connected to a high speed connection at work for it to work?

Yes, both the slingbox (which is also connected to your tuner or DVR) and your laptop need high-speed connections to the Internet. Over dial-up it wouldn't be fast enough.

yes. many of my friends use the slingbox and love it. they also can use it on pda phones to watch tv!
