Faith - I accuse them of being neglectful parents. As Ive yet to hear any story from either Team McCann or anyone else, about a kidnapper who stormed into their room, beat the McCanns over the head and took snatched Madeleine while they were bound and gagged, Im pretty sure that proving a charge of Child Neglect is a slam dunk.

I didn't watch it, my mum was over, but people are saying there was no reconstruction. I thought that a reconstruction would be the ideal thing to do. From watching Crimewatch in the past doing reconstructions is a really good way of jogging people's memories to help solve the crime. Why wasn't one done? Finding Madeleine is supposed to be the main issue here so surely doing a reconstruction is going to help this even more. This seems like one stone that has been left unturned.

Dammit dammit dammit I missed it!! That's a first!!

I would like to ask: Why on earth did they go on Crimewatch?
1 - It only covers England.
2 - As if the story wasn't shoved down our throats enough already. If this is a new story to anyone, they must have been living in a cave.
3 - Same old stuff, nothing new.
4 - 'We're looking for a man who was in Portugal!!' The last place he'll be is in the home country of the kidnappee (is there a better word?).

What'll they do next? Hold an International Maddy day? Ha ha ha...

I love the way all the answers down the board that show any support for the McCanns have got loads of thumbs down...
Good to see concern for the child is your primary objective, people.
Leave the parents alone until the kid is found, dead or alive.
Then you can start your self righteous shitspreading all over again.

What sturdy is it going to do besides.................. i think of the completed international is familiar with what handed off on that night, actual we don't want it rammed down our throats any further. all of us be conscious of what undesirable Maddie sounds like, and that her thoughtless mothers and fathers left her & her 2 siblings all on my own in a unlocked room so they could bypass out eating with their friends. Are they going to show interior the reconstruction Kate & Gerry sitiing on the table guffawing & taking part of their self on a similar time as their undesirable daughter exchange into taken from them, and then show them a pair of days later walking alongside the sea coast while they could of been available finding for the newborn, not the movements of mothers and fathers so heartbroken and entirely destroyed in my perspectives, that incredibly exchange into not LEAVING ANY STONE UNTURNED exchange into it

It was what I thought it would be, a waste of time. Did we learn anything new? No. Do we know there's a child missing called Maddy? Yes.
Do we know what she was wearing. Yes, well before this de rigeur emotive non event.
Too little too late TEAM McCann. You wait til you actually set foot on UK soil again. I hope that will be the last time your feet touch the ground as social services whisk you and what's left of your family off for a good stiff talking to.
Something will trip them up soon, if they keep this barrage of publicity (for themselves) up. I am not surprised we haven't had a reconstruction, can you imagine? Having to explain their X-ray vision and impugning the veracity of the bar staff, the actual assault course from bar stool to missing-child-centre. Not at all impressed I am afraid.

Editted to add:
I exhort all to read Moofies Mom's post. So well observed and spot on. I wish I'd said that, Moofs, excellent description of the whole farce.

Apparently accoring to the Sun, which I just read in the doctors, honest LOL, the Porty police stopped them from doing a reconstruction, saying it was against their strict laws.
Other than making an appeal, and showing the PJs you didnt miss anything.

Careful Dave, there are so many people that will be completely slagging you off within the next few hours because you have dared to question the MCcanns.

How anyone can tell people to give them a break and stop kicking them while they are down is beyond me. Some people seem to have no idea.

Not sure that I understand what you mean Dave, what is it about their appearance on Crimewatch that is open to Judgement
It was a factual appeal for their child's safe return, on that basis I am of the opinion that it was a success.
No doubt you have yet more insight into what you see as their reasons for appearing on crimewatch, no doubt you think it is all part of their grand master plan to make themselves rich and famous ? Do you think you are becoming just a Little obsessed Dave ?
Do you think the authorities should seek the Boss Eyed cats opinion, he or she seems to have all the answers !

I'm assuming the programme was to jog the memory of the very few people who were in Portugal at the same time, or is the programme shown around the world?
