She was part of the Manson family.

Squeaky Fromme was a follower of Charles Manson who tried to kill Gerald Ford. There were 2 attempts on his life that year, both by Manson followers.

She was a member of Charles Manson's family in California during the 60's. Manson wanted to start a race war, so he encouarged his people to commit murder. They killed Jessica Tate and others, including the La Bianca's.
Manson and others were found guilty. Squeaky wasn't. She became famous for attempting to kill Gerald Ford, while he was in office. She is still in prison, in West Virginia.
