I was a manager and just quit. They discriminate, have no concerns for their associates, work you to the bone, do not give pay raises to long due associates that work for them. Any experiences welcome. Someone needs to put a class action lawsuit against them.

I asked my GM one time why did we not have any African Americans working there, he would not respond. I interviewed a potential candidate for the position and they would not hire him. It disgust me.

Unfortunately I have worked there and I can say I have HONESTLY never worked around so many snobs in my life,I got worked to death and they still didn't think I worked hard enough, only gave alotta hours to the kiss @$$es,and the managers DO NOTHING if their "favorite" associate says something degrading to you in front of them,I will NEVER work or eat at that place again in my natural born life!!!!!!!!!!!

Have not worked there but i do work for a company that was created by one of the guys who started panera. Wild Bean Cafe. We offer a lot of the same items just on a smaller scale and I must admit that i hate it!!! I am applying like crazy right now trying to get out. I am a manager also but I agree the staff is stuck up, pay raises are almost non existant, and I see the discrimination everyday! I have worked 6 or 7 days a week for over a year now and they don't care at all but also try to make me do it wit no overtime then complain when I have it!

Wow, that's crazy. The one I go to has nothing but black workers and the restaurant is in a predominately white neighborhood. Sorry that happened to you. Totally sucks.
