It seems pretty cut and dried, right? The answer is no. Don't tell on this person because every one will eventually answer for everything they have ever done wrong to a much higher force. Besides you don't know who-else this may affect. There could be innocent people, maybe even children who could be hurt by this. Maybe they have no one else but this individual to take care of them. Hurting innocents is not worth it. There is always a consequence to our actions. I know it may feel very justified, maybe even good to tell on someone who seems to be fairing better than you, but in the end, you might not get the gratification that you seek, and worse, might even feel regret. You are going to be rewarded in life by your hard work and diligent efforts. Focus on what you're doing, and be just happy that you will never be like those people.

I have never known an illegal on Welfare. Im not even sure it really happens to be honest with you. Even if somebody has a fake SS#, the government will still check the SS# to make sure the names match. Therefore, they would get caught before they are approved. (Its a very easy thing to check, I check every time somebody fills out an application at my rental property) I know there is this huge myth/stereotype going around where people actually think that illegals are on Welfare, or even legal immigrants are on Welfare. IN fact, the only immigrants that can be on Welfare are refugees (and that is a whole other topic) My husband was here on political asalym. After we were married, we started the process for his permanent residency. I have to be his sponsor and had to prove to the government that I make enough money to support him if needed, since he is not eligible for apply for Welfare, even with a green card. So no, legal immigrants nor illegal immigrants are not on Welfare.

Dob them in. Unless it is a really close friend or the person despretley needs the money, in that case talk to them first. But yes it is annoying to think how much people pay in tax and dole bludgers can sit there and suck it all up, and only get off their arses to go buy a pack of smokes and some booze.

It is possible that her circumstances only allow her to work a certain number of hours per day/week and that the welfare she is receiving on top of her wages is a subsidy. Don't jump to conclusions. Make sure this is absolutely not the case before turning her in.

That is up to you. I would ask myself though if the people I know truly deserve to be turned in, or am I taking my frustrations at the entire welfare system out on them?

i don't know about SHOULD, i mean i wouldn't do it out of anger, but on a moral basis, which means i would also feel morally obligated to tell this person i will or have reported them. it's not fair, and while i wouldn't say that i HATE it, it does sound like it bothers you. pray for a better situation for yourself, put out some good karma and let go of the anger....hope it helps, good luck

Yes you can report it, but you have to have proof that they are. You have to have their name, address, and where they are working.
It will take time, nothing happens over night.
All you can do is wait and home the IRS catches them...
