Sheriffs and cops are the same aren't they??? Huh...didn't know there was a difference.
Snakes, there are a lot more species that can kill you than spiders. And the mere thought of being strangled by a snake scares the hell out of me.

Nobody ever gets pulled over or arrested by a Sheriff. The deputies do the work and they're all supermachimo wannabees. Think because they're 'deputies' that makes them equeal to the Earp brothers of OK Corral fame.
I would much rather be temporarily detained or arrested by a state or city cop.
Spiders or snakes depends on what environment you're living.
North America? Black Widow and Cottonmouths.
Pick another continent and the answers will be very different.

Spider and cops, they are somehow related, they both always in your face, roaming and likes to play hide and seek.
Sheriff and snakes, they might not be always there, but hell when you see one because definitely they are not roaming.

I absolutely do not like spiders or snakes. I've had bad experiences with them.

The "law" doesn't scare me unless I'm drunk & risking on going to jail, as of spiders & snakes, they don't bug me.
