I am a big sci-fi fan, so this choice is an obvious one for me !
There is a University in the UK that offers a degree in Science Fiction. It may sound a waste of time, but it is really a History / Social History / Media / English degree in disguise.
They will take a subject eg STAR TREK (1960's version) and look at the way its constructed, make a comparison to events at the time which influenced it (Civil rights movement, Cold War, technology develepments etc), look at the the shows impact on society. Explain how it drew from other fictional / factual sources etc etc.
For me personally, it would be real fun and I would have a MASSIVE head start as I would have already read / looked at most of the material on the reading list !!!!

Child psychology.
Not only a very interesting area of psychology, but if I had had the opportunity to study it to its full extent, I would have been able to help a lot of troubled children. Something I could have done with as a child, myself.

law. A lot of people are giving their opinion about immigration these days without ever having any knowledge of what they speak of. I would definitely study immigration law, if I had the opportunity.

genetics would be the best subject
i am amazed how genes work in habits, attitudes of relatives, not only physical but emotional ways from generations.. i have seen this in my family and know it is not acquired ways, because members of my family that never saw or knew their father have the same ways... father passed before they were born... i also plan to study this [might be very interesting]

Medicine. When you're young, you take health for granted and maybe go into medicine for the money, but I think when you get older you can relate to health, healing, the whole psychosomatic enchilada. I could find more motivation in that field now that I'm older.

Art or theater. Since I was a little kid, I've always liked crafts. And I'm pretty good at them, actually. It would be awesome to be able to try sculpture, mixed media, or found object art. And I've loved plays since I was a child as well. It would be amazing to be able to try acting and see if I'm any good at it! My advice to everyone: try as much as you can while you are in grade school, middle school, and high school. Once you hit college, its really hard to pick anything else up.

phsycology
in order to understand the thoughts and reactions of others in a more complete way.
on a practical note, i'd rather i had a trade as they are far more beneficial in the "real" world.

sociology...always wanted to do that..people ,how they lived ,why a particular behaviour, what causes society to act as they do..
I'm a people person ,i love looking at people and realising what makes them act ,whether positively or not..
when i look around me ,i smile because in spite of the barriers society puts up we aren't that different.
