The answer partly depends on what you define as a sediment. Sedimentary rocks can basically be classified into three goups:

1) clastic sedimentary rocks. These are the most common type, and are made from sediments such as mud, sand, gravel, etc., which represent fragments derived from pre-exisiting rocks.
2) chemical sedimentary rocks. These include things like rock-salt, and some limestones. These are not directly formed of sediments. When pre-existing rocks get weathered, some components can be dissolved and carried away in water, and these can then be precipitated elsewhere.
3) Organic sedimentary rocks. This type includes things like coal, which are formed of organic matter, rather than pre-exisitng sediment.

Sedimentry rocks are made up of sediments because all the sediments settle and harden up which forms the rock hence the name sedimentary rocks

YES, ACTUALLY THEY ARE. SEDIMENTRY ROCKS ARE MADE WHEN IGNEOUS OR METAMORPHIC ROCKS BREAK DOWN TO FORM SMALL GRINS AND THOSE GRAINS REMERGE TO FORM THESE ROCKS. YOU CAN CONFIRM IT FOR YOURSELF AS WELL. WHEN YOU FEEL A SEDIMENTRY ROCK, IT GIVES A GRAINY TYPE OF FEELING OR YOU CAN ASLO SEE THAT IT HAS FINE GRAINS OR SEDIMENTS MADE ON THEM.

Sedimentary rocks are surely made of sediments.
They are formed when sediments of plants and animalsare compresssed in high pressure of overlying layers.
