I think it's scary that paris hilton, a trashy no-talent media icon, makes the "front page" of internet headlines, while other topics like the war in Iraq, the presidential election, even celebrities that set good examples (i.e. angelina joile) fail to capture our attention/interests as much as a joke-celebrity getting what she deserves.

I hope it slows her down a little. I think back to when I was that age (not too long ago) and I considered doing a lot of goofy crap, but only actually went through with about half of it.
Point is: it's not a past that she will remember fondly, and I hope her friends and fans can learn from her mistakes.

I think she learned her lesson so fast and did you know that her time in jail dropped? She became a good girl after recognizing how hard it is in Jail.
